Scheduling & Registration
Modality-wise appointment slots, patient registration, contrast and preparation instructions, and walk-in handling.
Modality scheduling, DICOM image capture and storage, structured radiologist reporting and instant report delivery — for X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI and combined diagnostic centres.
Diagnostic centres usually end up with three disconnected things: a register or billing package for appointments, a pile of images sitting on each modality's own console, and reports typed in Word and saved to somebody's desktop. Finding a patient's prior scan for comparison means asking whoever was on duty that day.
Care Matrix RIS ties the three together. A booking creates a study, the modality sends its images to central DICOM storage against that study, and the radiologist opens the images and reports on them from the same screen. Prior studies for the same patient appear automatically alongside the current one.
For centres running more than one branch, images and reports live in one place rather than on individual machines. A radiologist can report for any branch from wherever they are, which is what makes evening and weekend coverage practical without a radiologist physically present at each site.

Sends the patient's details to the machine so technologists select from a worklist instead of typing names at the console.
Central image archive with study and series organisation, prior comparison and configurable retention.
Side-by-side image viewing and reporting, template library by modality, voice-typing friendly, and draft or final states.
Patients and referring doctors receive the report by WhatsApp or email, with an optional secure link to view the images.
Branch-wise scheduling and accounting with a shared patient history and a common radiologist reporting pool.
Standalone centres running X-ray, ultrasound, CT or MRI that need scheduling, storage and reporting in one system.
Facilities offering both, where a patient should get one bill and one consolidated report history.
In-house departments receiving orders from OPD and IPD and posting reports back into the patient's hospital record.
No. DICOM image storage and viewing are part of the Care Matrix RIS rather than a separately licensed product. You get the scheduling, reporting and image archive as one system with one support contact.
Any modality that supports the DICOM standard — which is effectively all current CT, MRI, ultrasound and digital X-ray equipment — can send images to the archive and receive a worklist. Older analogue equipment without DICOM output cannot, though images can still be attached manually.
Yes, with a cloud or internet-accessible deployment. The radiologist logs in, sees their assigned worklist, views the images and submits the report. This is what makes shared radiologist coverage across several branches or after-hours reporting workable.
It depends heavily on your modality mix — a busy CT or MRI centre generates far more data per study than an X-ray or ultrasound practice. We size this during the pre-deployment survey based on your actual monthly study volume and the retention period you need to keep.
Yes, if you enable it. Alongside the PDF report, patients can receive a secure link that lets them view or download the study, which saves reprinting films and helps when they consult a doctor elsewhere.
Every module works on its own and works better together — they share one patient record and one set of reports.
