Purchase & Receipt
Indents, purchase orders, goods receipt against PO, rate and discount capture, and supplier bill matching.
Batch-wise inventory with expiry alerts, purchase orders and goods receipt, prescription dispensing and GST-compliant sales billing — for hospital pharmacies and attached retail counters.
A hospital pharmacy carrying a few thousand items cannot be managed from memory. Without batch-level records, expired stock is found when someone happens to look at a strip, fast-moving items run out on a weekend, and the gap between what the books say and what is on the shelf grows quietly month after month.
Care Matrix pharmacy management tracks every item by batch and expiry date from the moment it is received. Stock issues out against a prescription or a sale, so the system knows what should be on the shelf at any point, and physical verification becomes a comparison rather than a recount from scratch.
Expiry is handled before it becomes a loss. Items approaching expiry surface on a dashboard with enough lead time to return them to the supplier or move them to a faster-moving location, rather than being discovered as a write-off.

Serving IPD wards and OPD patients, where consumption must reconcile with what appears on patient bills.
A retail counter operating alongside the hospital, needing GST-compliant billing and its own stock and margin view.
A central store feeding sub-stores or ward stock, with visibility of where inventory actually sits.
Yes. Every batch carries its expiry date from goods receipt, and near-expiry items surface on a dashboard and in alerts at a lead time you configure — typically 60 or 90 days. That is enough notice to return stock to the supplier under a return policy or move it where it will be consumed.
Reorder levels are set per item, and the system flags anything at or below its level so purchase can be raised in time. You can also review consumption history to set those levels sensibly rather than guessing.
Yes, when deployed alongside the HMS. A prescription written by the doctor appears at the pharmacy counter, is dispensed against directly, and the charge posts to the patient's bill without the item being typed again.
Yes. Sales invoices carry the required GST fields including HSN codes, tax breakup and proper numbering, and purchase and sales registers can be exported for filing.
Yes. Discount limits are set by role, and anything beyond a user's limit requires authorisation from someone with higher rights. Every discount is recorded against the user who applied it.
Every module works on its own and works better together — they share one patient record and one set of reports.
