OPD & IPD Billing
Consultation, investigation, procedure and bed charges accruing to one account, with interim and final bills.
GST-compliant invoicing, package and tariff handling, TPA and insurance claim tracking, and revenue reporting that tells you where the money actually came from.
Ask most hospital administrators where they lose money and the answer is rarely dramatic. It is a consumable used in the OT that never reached the bill, an investigation done but not charged, a package that was quoted at one rate and billed at another, or a TPA claim that sat unfiled until it passed its window.
Care Matrix billing works from what was actually delivered. When a test is ordered, a drug issued or a bed occupied, the charge attaches to the patient's account at the correct rate for their payer. The bill is a summary of recorded activity rather than something assembled by hand at discharge.
That changes what your reports can tell you. Instead of a single revenue figure, you can see income by department, by consultant, by payer and by procedure, along with what is outstanding and from whom — which is the information you need to negotiate panel rates or decide whether a service line is worth running.

Yes. Invoices carry the fields required under GST, including your GSTIN, HSN or SAC codes where applicable, tax breakup and invoice numbering. Credit notes and cancellation handling follow the same rules, and registers can be exported in a form your accountant or CA can work with.
Yes, and this is one of the main reasons hospitals move to the system. You maintain a rate card per TPA, panel, corporate or scheme. A patient's payer is set at registration and every subsequent charge picks up the correct rate automatically, which removes the most common source of billing disputes.
Yes. Claims are tracked from pre-authorisation through submission to settlement, with ageing so you can see what has been pending too long and with whom. Shortfalls and partial settlements are recorded against the original claim rather than written off invisibly.
Yes. Rights are role-based — you decide who can discount, who can cancel and who can reopen a finalised bill, and every such action is recorded with the user and timestamp. Most hospitals restrict this to one or two senior people.
Yes. Billing and revenue management can be deployed on its own, though it delivers more when it sits alongside the clinical modules, since that is what allows charges to accrue automatically rather than being entered by hand.
Every module works on its own and works better together — they share one patient record and one set of reports.
